VIDEO LICENSES

TARIFF FOR THE PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF MUSIC VIDEOS 01
For the public use of short-form Music Videos played on no more than 5 separate TV monitors” for background purposes on a DVD, VCR or (Including hard-disk delivery systems). Public houses, bars, wine bars, cafes, hotels, small shops, smaller chain stores, cinema foyers, club foyers, social clubs, gyms etc.
*A screen size of up to and including 42" is viewed as a “TV monitor" any screens of 43" plus comprise “video screens".
In certain circumstances large screen sizes would be subject to individual negotiation with RAV.
A full description of usage/number of monitors/type of premises etc will be required in order to apply the correct tariff/fee. The above is a guide only and may be subject to negotiation in individual cases. .

TARIFF FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF MUSIC VIDEOS 03
For the public use of music videos as part of the in-flight entertainment on aircraft. Price charged per aircraft based on Passenger Capacity/Number of seats per aircraft. All rates are subject to RAV minimum license

TARIFF FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF MUSIC VIDEOS 04
For the use of music videos supplied to a site by an operator for use on a coin-operated video jukebox or audio/video jukebox for background purposes only

TARIFF FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF MUSIC VIDEOS 05
For the public exhibition of music videos /DVD/Hard Disc by the named licensee (individual Mobile DJ) as specifically featured entertainment (e.g. Discotheque sessions, clubs, dances) as single events. This tariff is a blanket license fee to cover mobile DJ presentations by individual DJ’s.
It does not cover the following:

  1. Permanent/Regular engagements;
  2. Consecutive events held in the same venue;
  3. Events promoted by the mobile DJ.

In the cases of 1 and 2, further information should be provided to RAV to that licensing can be arranged with the individual promoters concerned. In case of 3, a separate licence application should be submitted by the mobile DJ.
